Schemes
Correct installation of fire protection products
is vital if they are to perform as intended and
provide the specified fire performance. Incorrect
installation can lead to non-performance,
premature failure, loss of insurance cover
and potential loss of life, property, stock and
business interruption.
To be effective in preventing or controlling the
spread of 昀椀re, or for protection of structural
elements from the effects of 昀椀re, these
products need to be installed properly within
their approved 昀椀eld of application. Failure to
do so can compromise 昀椀re performance with
consequences for property, life, safety and
commercial risk.
