Marking
This marking provides a system under
which a product is evaluated to a set of
minimum requirements embodied in technical
specifications enabling it to be confidently
placed on the market.
What is the UKCA Mark?
As a UK Approved Body, we are able to attest
your fire protection products, enabling you
to affix the UKCA Mark and sell your products
across the UK.
IFC Certification is a UKAS accredited
certification body and is a UK approved body
(No. 1720) under the Construction Products
Regulation.

The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) mark
is a product marking that is used for goods
being placed on the market in Great Britain
(England, Wales and Scotland). It covers
most goods which previously required the
CE marking. Known as ‘new approach’ goods.
The UKCA marking came into effect on 1st of
January 2021. However, to allow businesses
time to adjust to the new requirements, you
will still be able to use CE marking until at
least June 2025.
