What We Do
KUKreg4 - UK Water Regulation 4 Testing and Certification
Water Supply (Water Fitting) Regulations safeguard public health,
water supplies, and promote efficient water use in the UK. UK
Water Regulation 4 ensures that all water fittings meet quality
standards, crucial for maintaining safe drinking water.
The Kiwa UK Regulation 4 Product Approval Scheme (KUKreg4)
is designed for manufacturers and distributors of sanitary and
plumbing products needing compliance with UK Water Regulation
4. The Scheme is accredited to ISO/IEC 17065 and covers a wide
range of products, including tapware, pipes, valves, appliances,
catering equipment and WCs.
Whilst we can carry out the testing requirements for a range of
UK regulation 4 approvals, compared to alternative schemes,
KUKreg4 offers broader acceptance across Europe and provides
two levels of compliance, including a higher standard with
additional audits. Its comprehensive testing in accredited ISO/
IEC 17025 laboratories ensures high reliability, making it a more
versatile and robust certification option for manufacturers and
suppliers.
Once certified, your product is listed in the online Kiwa Water
Regulations Approved Products Directory. Achieving Kiwa’s
KUKreg4 Certification Mark ensures regulatory acceptance and
informs customers of rigorous, independent evaluation.
